For a UPenn-sponsored summer high school online course, I worked alongside the instructor to create an experimental simulator for the students to run virtual experiments as part of their experimental data assignment. We designed the app to allow the learners to run any number of experiments, change the factors, and copy and paste the plain text results at the bottom to be copied into an Excel document for further evaluation. We pair-programmed and wrote the browser-based application via HTML, CSS and vanilla Javascript, deployed the app via Github Pages, and embed the application as an iframe within a learning management system (LMS). Feel free to test it out by typing in a number in the input box.
